The following Brazilian buttocks lift preparations apply to most or all patients:
- Stop alcohol consumption and smoking 2-3 weeks before your scheduled surgery.
- Do not take the following medications/supplements at least a week before surgery: ibuprofen, fish oil supplements, aspirin, garlic supplements, Vitamin E supplements, warfarin, clopidogrel, and ximelagatran.
- Maintain a steady weight and BMI under 30.
- On the day of the BBL surgery, wear loose, comfortable clothing. Avoid applying perfumes, deodorants, makeup, and/or lotions.
